St. Nicholas School offers a unique educational program designed to foster a love of learning, and its students consistently meet or surpass national standards and benchmarks. Visitors should not expect to see neat rows of desks as in a traditional setting. Instead, they will see students actively engaged in their work and participating in stations set up throughout classrooms.
Founded on the principles of the Episcopal Church, St. Nicholas emphasizes love and respect for all humans, moral integrity, spiritual growth, compassion, and responsibility. Students of all religious and cultural backgrounds are welcome.
“When the way we teach and learn is combined with the ability to nurture our students socially and spiritually, it’s a rare combination, indeed. We foster independence and creativity while developing a child’s intrinsic motivation. We produce caring, inquisitive thinkers who love to learn.” said, Mark Fallo, head of school.
