A semester-long project has been completed by Chattanooga State’s student chapter of Associated General Contractors (AGC). Students in the organization built three child-size potting tables, an outdoor storage shelving unit and a picnic table around an existing tree for the outdoor garden classroom at the Child Development Center (CDC) on campus.

According to Vicki Headrick, Child Development Center director, the AGC chapter finished the project in approximately four weeks time by working quickly, efficiently, and inconspicuously.

AGC faculty advisors include Caitlin Moffitt, assistant professor of Civil and Construction Engineering Technology and Dan Wood, assistant professor of Design and Drafting Engineering Technology.
