A man authorities say was involved in the theft of six vehicles from Gentry Chevrolet at Kimball, Tn., has been ordered to serve 41 months in federal prison and make $111,175 restitution to the dealership.
Christopher Lynn Coffelt appeared before Federal Judge Sandy Mattice.
Authorities said the dealership learned of the thefts on Jan. 2, 2014, and began using OnStar to track their locations.
A stolen 2014 silver Silverado truck was located abandoned at Grandview Medical Center in Jasper, Tn.
Authorities found mail and receipts from Coffelt in the truck along with a revolver and ammunition.
A stolen white 2014 Camaro sports car was located at Hamilton Place Mall. One receipt showed Coffelt had been near the mall on Jan. 1, 2014. Coffelt fled on foot from the Camaro and was captured a short distance away.
An Apple I-Phone was found in the Camaro. It was learned that it had been used to take photos of the revolver found in the truck at Jasper.
Coffelt had several prior felonies.
