Vintage Baseball Spring Training Camp To Begin Saturday

  • Thursday, January 15, 2015

Tennessee Association of Vintage Baseball will hold an informational meeting, training camp and sign-ups on Saturday, from 12–4 p.m. at the 6th Cavalry Museum / Polo Field. This same league played exhibition games at Engel Stadium in June, 2014 and was encouraged to form teams in Chattanooga to join the league.  Vintage Base Ball is played on an open field and the 6th Cavalry Museum has partnered with the league to host the games on the former Army Post at Fort Oglethorpe’s polo field.

Vintage players and organizers will be on hand to answer questions, take the field to demonstrate play and sign up players and umpires for the 2015 season.
