Sandi Everett Spoke Of Work In Afghanistan At Boynton Lions Club

Marine veteran Sandi Everett of Ringgold shared her experiences of America's work in Afghanistan with the Boynton Lions Club.  Ms. Everett shared her experiences of day-to-day life, the people, and the fellow Marines who lost their lives serving the United States.

Boynton Lions Club works locally with youth service projects, vision screening, assisting needy with eyeglasses and is the long-term care and maintenance of the Dailey Hill Cemetery. The group is now receiving donations from friends and relatives of those interred there to assist with the costs of mowing and upkeep. Donations may be sent to Boynton Lions Club, 4246 Boynton Drive, Ringgold, Ga. 30736.  

They also work on a statewide level with Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation, Georgia Lions Camp for the Blind and the Emory Child Care Center.  

The club meets at Boynton United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall on the second Tuesday each month at 6:30 p.m. Dinner is catered by the Dinner Bell for $6.50 per person.  Club dues are $21 per quarter. Visit http://e-clubhouse.org/sites/boynton/ for more information.
