John C. Campbell, 78, of Dalton, GA, passed away Monday, January 26, 2015 at Hamilton Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Harold Foland; and infant daughter, Margaret Elizabeth Campbell.
Mr. Campbell was a member of Dug Gap Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret “Peggy” Campbell of the residence; two daughters and sons-in-law, Margaret Carey & Darren Harper of Yukon, OK and Christy & Bob Watts of Chickamauga; son & daughter-in-law, Carl & Kristy Campbell of Chatsworth; brother & sister-in-law, Tom & Charlotte Campbell of Kennesaw; eight grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and other family members.
The funeral service to honor the life of John C. Campbell will be held Friday, January 30, at 1 p.m. at Dug Gap Baptist Church with Dr. Bob Bagley and Dr. Byron Edens officiating. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Westside Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home, Thursday, January 29 from 5-9 p.m.
