John Dunagan, Jr.

John Russell Dunagan, Jr., 60, of Rossville, died on Friday, January 30, 2015 after a lengthy battle with cancer.  He was surrounded by his loving family and close friends.

John was a native and lifelong resident of the north Georgia area and was a graduate of Rossville High School.  He served in the U.S. Air Force and was employed for many years as certified pedorthist with PPS Orthotic & Prosthetic Services of Chattanooga.  Mr. Dunagan was of the Baptist faith and was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy Carter Dunagan and John Russell Dunagan, Sr.

Survivors include his loving wife of 40 years, Sharon Denice Dunagan; sisters, Joan Tyrrell and Jean Dunagan, both of Ringgold; several nieces, nephews and loving family members.

Services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 7, at 2 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Reverend Ron Tankersley officiating.  Burial will be held at a later date at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
