John Satterfield Earns Highest Award At Army Basic Training And Advanced Individual Training

Jordan L. Satterfield, a 2013 graduate of Boyd Buchanan High School, earned the Commanding General’s Award, the highest award given at graduation from Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training (AIT) at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., out of a field of 205 participants. He also received the Trailblazer Award granted to soldiers who excel in every aspect of training. Mr. Satterfield was outstanding in the Army Physical Fitness Test scoring above 300 points.

Mr.

Satterfield is a sophomore at Lipscomb University majoring in Mechanical Engineering and is serving in the Army Reserves. He is on scholarship with Vanderbilt University's ROTC program.
