Joe C. Isenhower, 84, died peacefully on October 11, 2015.
He served with the Army in the Korean War as well as retiring with the National Guard. He took early retirement from Dupont after 35 years. Joe was an outdoors man who loved sports and was always eager to help anyone he could.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Conley and Ruby Isenhower, Calhoun, Tn., and wife, Cindy Isenhower.
Survivors include his sons, Glenn (Rhonda) Isenhower and Bo Isenhower; daughters, Becky (Claude) Levi and Jordan Isenhower; grandchildren, Claudia Wamack, Jacob Isenhower, Landan Hall, Westan Holmes, Lula Kate Wamack; sisters, Pat Patrick of Texas, Sarah (John) Austin; brother, Richard Isenhower of Florida; several nieces and nephews; former wife, Ruth Isenhower and current companion Bobbie Long.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 16, at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace with Bill Harvey officiating. Interment will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, and 12-1 p.m. on Friday.
