Rufus Moore Arrested After Dragging Girlfriend Approximately 50 Feet As She Hung Out Car Door

Rufus Moore, 52, has been arrested and charged with aggravated domestic assault after he allegedly punched, choked, and dragged his girlfriend beside his car for approximately 50 feet.

When officers responded to a disorder on the 800 block of North Germantown Road, they found the victim standing on the street with a torn shirt and a bloody mouth.

She told officers that she had been sitting in the car with her boyfriend when they began arguing. She said that he started to choke her with a lanyard that was around her neck before punching her repeatedly in the head and face.

She said that as she tried to exit the vehicle, he began accelerating in the car while she was hanging from the side of the vehicle.

She said that she was dragged about 50 feet down the street before she finally fell and Moore fled the scene.
