Marlene “Kay” Taylor, 68, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at her residence.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Vivian Delph; and several aunts and uncles.

Kay is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Robert Carter of Dalton and Ronald and Anita Carter of Dalton; daughter and son-in-law, Stacy and Michael Blacketor of Peachtree City; sister and brother-in-law, Lori and Chris Needler of Indiana; grandson, Eli Carter; and nephews, Brian Needler and Cody Needler.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 3 in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Tommy Deal officiating. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, 200 West Emery St., Suite 3, Dalton, GA 30720.
