Rob Bradham, vice president of public strategies for the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce, has been named president of the Greater Dalton Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Bradham, a native of Charlotte, N.C., takes his new post on Nov. 9.
He replaces Brian Anderson, who will be president of the Greater Columbus Chamber.
Mr. Bradham has been working with Dalton and Whitfield County officials through the Thrive 2055 effort.
He joined the Chattanooga Chamber in June 2010, coming from Richmond, Va., where he was senior vice president of business development and government affairs for the Greater Richmond Chamber of Commerce.
Before joining the Richmond Chamber, Mr. Bradham was vice president and director of governmental affairs for the Organization Management Group, one of Virginia’s largest trade association management companies. In that position, he managed government relations for clients in the real estate and government procurement industries.
Mr. Bradham later served as vice chairman of the Capital Region Workforce Investment Board, as a member of the Partnership for America’s Economic Success Advisory Board, and as a member of the Virginia Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives Board.
He holds a B.A. in history with a minor in political science from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Va.
Mr. Bradham is married to the former Melissa Sherfey, a Chattanooga native. They are the parents of two sons.
