Haynes Exemplifies Effective Leadership

  • Saturday, October 3, 2015

Our county commissioner is Marty Haynes.  Over the last few months we have been reminded that effective leadership builds trust.

Marty has kept his word to be accountable to voters and govern with conservative principles.  County Mayor Jim Coppinger’s budget was balanced with spending prioritized.  Marty joined a few other commissioners in voting for that budget and opposed allocating money for district projects out of the county’s reserve fund.

Bottom line, Marty Haynes voted over and over to spend our tax dollars within our county balanced budget with no deficit spending.   He has earned our trust through his words and deeds.

Hamilton County is fortunate to have business leaders who serve the public in elected office.  Let’s make sure to thank those officials like Marty Haynes who keep their word and lead.
