Mary Ellen Hindman, 75, of Soddy Daisy, died on Thursday, October 1, 2015.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Hindman; her parents Noah and Ada West; a brother, James "Dood" West and two sisters, Jane Beavers and Betty Petty.

She is survived by her daughters and son-in-laws, Nancy and Ricky Shetter and Karen and Eddie Vincent; a sister, Edna “Tootsie” Bowman; her grandchildren, whom she was extremely proud of, Jimmy Shetter, Steven Shetter, Matthew Vincent and Amy Lewis along with six great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 4, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Chaplain Ricky Vaughn officiating. Burial will follow in Hamilton County Memorial Park.

Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. 

The family wants to especially thank Ms. Hindman’s great-granddaughter, Cierra Lewis for all her selfless sacrifices she has made in caring for her great-grandmother. They also want to thank Silver Angels, especially Misty Webb Palermino for all the care she provided.
