No area of business has changed more than advertising and these changes affect how companies work with advertising agencies. This is the subject of an educational presentation by Rena Kilgannon, of the Atlanta-based Kilgannon Group, entitled, “The Changing Ad Agency Model”, at the Nov. 19 meeting of American Advertising Federation of Chattanooga. Anyone who works with agencies, for an agency, or vendors who support agencies, is encouraged to attend and learn what the future holds.
“There is a change in the business model,” said Ms.
Kilgannon, who goes on to say that the change is, in part, how CMOs will be purchasing agency services in the future and what they are looking for. She will describe this new model and then offer suggestions on how to best to position an agency in light of this.
