Dovie Brooks, 103, of Hixson, Tennessee, also known as “The Queen”, died on Sunday, October 4, 2015.

She was a member of the Middle Valley Church of God for sixty plus years. 

Preceding her in death was her husband, Arthur Brooks; her parents; three brothers and six sisters. 

She is survived by two daughters, Brenda (Donny) Coffman, Norma Knauss (special friend, Hank Clayton); two grandsons, Mike (Michelle) Knauss and Scott Coffman; three great-grandsons, Ben Coffman, Eric Knauss and Hunter Knauss, along with several nieces and nephews. 

We would like to thank Soddy Daisy Health Care and Hospice of Chattanooga for the care they provided for her. 

Services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 7, graveside, in Hamilton County Memory Park, with Pastor Mitch McClure officiating.

Visitation is on Tuesday, Oct. 6, from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
