It is a top priority all year long, raising funds for the local Alzheimer’s Association and this year, Morning Pointe communities in the Chattanooga area, raised $8,333 for the Alzheimer’s Association, Chattanooga.
The Morning Pointe Senior Living Communities in Chattanooga including Morning Pointe of Chattanooga at Shallowford, Morning Pointe of Hixson, Morning Pointe of Collegedale at Greenbriar Cove, The Lanterns at Morning Pointe Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence in Collegedale and Chattanooga all worked tirelessly in 2015 planning and executing a variety of events and projects to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association.
The entire Morning Pointe team lends a helping hand however they can, whether it’s creating blankets, participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s or organizing additional fundraisers.
“Once again, this year has been an outstanding year with incredible support from residents, associates, family members and friends- each playing an important role in helping to raise money for the care, support and research of Alzheimer’s Disease,” said Rob Pollard, regional vice president of Operations for the Lookout Region.
All five Morning Pointe Assisted Living and Memory Care Communities in the greater-Chattanooga area would like to thank everyone who participated throughout the year and the contributed efforts to fight Alzheimer’s and help find a cure.
Today, as many as 5.4 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's and nearly 11 million more act as caregivers for loved ones with the disease. Morning Pointe’s contributions will help by advancing the Association's efforts in Alzheimer’s care, support and research.
