Community Organizations Celebrating Milestone Anniversaries

  • Tuesday, October 6, 2015

Three organizations committed to the betterment of Cleveland and Bradley County are celebrating milestone anniversaries this year.

The Cleveland/Bradley Chamber of Commerce is turning 90, and both Cleveland Associated Industries and Junior Achievement of the Ocoee Region will celebrate golden anniversaries. Combined, these organizations represent 190 years of service.

“Our commitment to ensuring business development and a high quality of life for our citizens gives us reason to celebrate,” said Lisa Pickel, executive director of Cleveland Associated Industries and celebration organizer. “And because the respective membership base and many volunteers of our organizations overlap, we’ve opted to combine our anniversaries into one big celebration.”

On Friday, Nov. 6, at 6:30 p.m., members of the Chamber of Commerce, CAI and Junior Achievement will celebrate “Serving Our Community for 190 Years” at Cleveland Country Club. The cocktail-attire party will include dinner and entertainment.

Individual tickets are $75 and may be purchased by calling the Chamber of Commerce. Corporate tables of eight may be reserved for $750. All tickets must be purchased by Nov. 2.

Sponsorship opportunities are also available and include special recognition and complimentary tickets. Call Lisa Pickel or Bernadette Douglas at the Chamber of Commerce at 423-472-6587 for more information.
