UTC went on lockdown on Thursday night when two armed robberies were reported on campus.
Students were told at 11:18 p.m.: "UTC ALERT Three suspects in a downtown armed robbery may be in vicinity of campus. Use caution. Lock doors. Report suspicious activity to 911Police are investigating two reported armed robberies at UTC."
School officials said there was a holdup in a parking lot at Houston and 8th streets around 11:15 p.m.
A second armed robbery was reported on the south portion of the campus, with the suspects leaving in a white Ford Focus hatchback.
