Dalton State Women at Royals Cross Country Challenge

Charlotte, NC – Dalton State freshman Emily Poole finished 8th of 206 runners Friday as the Lady Roadrunners finished 12th of 23 teams in the Royals Cross Country Challenge at McAlpine Creek Park.

Poole’s 18:33.1 was just over a minute ahead of teammate Natalie Hensley (19:33.9) who finished 36th. Hensley finished 46th.  Dalton State’s Gloria Pascual finished 78th with a time of 20:13.3. Kuersten Gallivan (86th) had a time of 10:23.9. Olivia Bird (88th) came in at 20:24.4.

Mallory Edwards (94th) finished in 20:30.8. Asleigh Parham finished 109th at 20:50.3. Jessica Brock was 124th at 21:18.6.

Dalton State’s average time was 19:49.72. They had 291 points. Auburn Montgomery of the SSAC finished 18th in the meet with 473 points.

The next Lady Roadrunner competition will be held on October 24th at the ASICA Sand Shark Invitational in Hardeeville, SC.
