Willene Simmons, 77, of Pikeville, Tennessee, died Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at Cumberland Medical Center.
She was of the Christian Faith. Willene worked at Sequatchie Shirt Factory, was a waitress at Agee's Restaurant, and the owner of Simmons Drive-In and Simmons Café. She was also a cook at Wheeler Elementary School.
Willene was preceded in death by her husband, James Sampson Simmons; parents, Mark and Leona Lewis; brother, Marshall Lewis; and great-grandson, Lucas Riley DeBord.
Survivors include her children, Carol (Roy) DeBord, Marie (Jimmy) Lawson, and Roger Simmons; grandchildren, Roy Clay (Sarah) DeBord, Jr., James (Una) DeBord, Crystal (Mike) Podwys and Melissa Parker; great-grandchildren, Dylan, Harley, Carson, Shawn, Landon, Perry, Sawyer and Amelia; sister, Barbara (Cleo) Turner, Crossville; brother, Jerry (Jean) Lewis; sister-in-law, Roma Lewis, Dunlap; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Saturday, Nov. 14 at 1 p.m. CST with Rev. Ken Norris officiating. Burial will be in Blackburn Cemetery.
