Judy Ann Chambers Wooten, 64, of Ringgold, Georgia, died on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at her residence.
A lifelong resident of the Ringgold area, she was a former employee of Kangaroo where she worked for 20 years and was of the Christian faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Kenneth Wooten; daughter, Amy Nicholson; father, Grady Eugene Chambers and mother, Thelma Louise Cummings Chambers Schmitt.
She is survived by three children, Sherry Ridge of Eaton, Ga., Leon Wooten of Ringgold, and George Curtis (JoAnn Swanson) Wooten of Rock Spring; sister, Amy Lee Smith of Ringgold; three brothers, Junior Vance Chambers, Charles Chambers and Jimmy Chambers all of Ringgold; sister-in-law, Betty Huskey of Ringgold; brother-in-law, James Wooten of Ringgold; 13 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 17, in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Catoosa Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Monday, Nov. 16, from 4-9 p.m. and Tuesday until funeral time at the funeral home.
