Morning Fire Destroys Trailer

  • Friday, November 20, 2015
Chattanooga firefighters were called to a mobile home fire around 5 a.m. on Friday in the 100 block of Dal-Brown Drive. Battalion Chief Don Bowman said the trailer was engulfed in flames when the first firefighters arrived. It took the firefighters roughly an hour to get the blaze under control. The structure was considered a total loss.
Chief Bowman said the firefighters were unable to make entry into the structure since it was already engulfed in flames.
It is not known if anyone was living in the trailer or not, but the structure appeared to be unoccupied at the time of the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. Chattanooga Police and Hamilton County EMS also provided assistance on the scene.
