Madden Wins $10,000 Gobbler At Cleveland 2015 Season Finale

Outrunning pole-sitter Dale McDowell of Chickamauga, second-starting Chris Madden of Gray Court, S.C., led the entire 77-lap distance in the Southern Nationals Bonus Series-sanctioned 27th annual Joe Lee Johnson Gobbler at Cleveland Speedway, earning a $10,000 payday.  

Madden collected his fourth career victory, his last coming a week ago at Cleveland's sister track in nearby Chattanooga.  The event was slowed by only one caution on lap 62.  

Madden's Longhorn chassis has a Clements Racing Engine and is sponsored by Century Plastics, Crowder Trucking, Cushman Paint & Body, Allstar Performance, Crescent Moon Homes LLC, Stroble Mini Storage, Penske Racing Shocks, Hoosier Racing Tire, VP Race Fuels, Worley Monument and Henderson Amusement.

Entering the season finale for the series, David Payne of Murphy, N.C., wrapped up the Championship over Kentucky's Tommy Bailey
