Chris Madden, on left, won the Gobbler
Outrunning pole-sitter Dale McDowell of Chickamauga, second-starting Chris Madden of Gray Court, S.C., led the entire 77-lap distance in the Southern Nationals Bonus Series-sanctioned 27th annual Joe Lee Johnson Gobbler at Cleveland Speedway, earning a $10,000 payday.
Madden collected his fourth career victory, his last coming a week ago at Cleveland's sister track in nearby Chattanooga. The event was slowed by only one caution on lap 62.
