Glenda Lee Shropshire, of Rossville, Georgia, died on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at her residence.

She was a member of Chickamauga Church of Christ and former member of E. Third Street Church of Christ. She was formerly employed by Coca-Cola Bottling Company and Panera Bread. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Lee and Ralph Jones; God-given parents, Percy and Effie Burrell; siblings, Nobel, Varnell, Betty Tolliver, Shirley Lee Vance, and Larry Lee; stepchildren, Kim Shropshire and Kisha (Carl) Williams. 

Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Tommy L. Shropshire, Sr.; son, David Shropshire; daughter, Christina (William) Cotton; stepchildren, Sherry (Richard) McSears, Chiquitta (Laney) Farmer, Rodney Shropshire, and Tommy Shropshire, Jr.; grandchildren, James Shropshire, Trinity Porter, and Isaiah Cotton; siblings, Edward (Dorothy) Lee, George (Sandra) Burrell, Kevin Green, Doris (Calvin) Smith, and Laverne Lee; devoted cousins, Francine (Reginald) Brown, Elaine (Harry) Jarvis, and a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. 

She will lie in state on Tuesday, Nov. 24, after 12:30 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. 

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, Nov. 25, at noon at E. Third Street Church of Christ with Brother John R. Taylor, Sr. as the eulogist. Burial will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
