Willie J. Robinson, 77, of Chattanooga, died on Saturday, November 21, 2015 in a local health care facility.  

He was known as “Mr. Willie”, the candy man on Chamberlain and East Chattanooga. He retired from Bonner Acoustical Contracting Company after many years of service.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Will and Mabel Robinson. 

Survivors include his wife, Barbara J. Robinson; children, Dewayne Robinson of Gadsden, Al., Cevin Burney of Oak Ridge, Tommy (Nicole) Burney, Jr. of Chattanooga, Monta (Crystal) Burney of Montgomery, AL, Anwar Burney, and Marcus (Lisa) Robinson both of Chattanooga; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends. 

A memorial service will be on Wednesday, Nov. 25, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home.
