The Chattanooga Zoo will once again host its annual Holiday Lights event where guests will see the Zoo transformed into a winter wonderland while celebrating the holidays with their families.

For the price of regular Zoo admission, (Zoo members receive 50 percent off), families can come and enjoy all that the Chattanooga Zoo’s Holiday Lights event has to offer.  Activities include cookie decorating, letters to Santa, and ornament crafts.  Guests can also watch the animals open their gifts, enjoy story time, get a photo made with Santa Claus and more.

All activities, excluding photos with Santa Claus, are included in regular Holiday Lights admission. Photos with Santa Claus are $7 each.

“It is always such a treat to celebrate the holidays with our animal friends," said Darde Long, Zoo CEO and president.  "To see the Zoo decorated beautifully for the holidays and watch guests get just as excited as our animals as they open their gifts truly makes the holiday season memorable."

Holiday Lights will take place on Dec. 4, 5, 11, 12, 18, and 19 from 5:30-8 p.m. Tickets are $8.95
for adults, $5.95 for kids, and children 2 and under are free. Zoo members receive half off admission. Tickets are available for purchase now online at www.chattzoo.org/familyevents or in the Zoo Gift Shop. If not sold out, tickets will be available for purchase at the door.

For more information, visit the Zoo website at www.chattzoo.org or call the Zoo Gift Shop at 697-
