Authorities Say LaFayette Man Killed Wife; Kept Body In House

Authorities said a Walker County man shot and killed his wife, then left her body in their house for up to 36 hours.

Finally, a neighbor alerted the Sheriff's Office and the body of 38-year-old Christina Michelle Denson was found in the bedroom.

Her husband, 41-year-old Steven Marcus Denson, has admitted shooting her in the neck with a .22-caliber handgun, it was stated.

The body was found after a search warrant was obtained.
