Journey Educational Services, Inc. will celebrate three months of service with its first Champions of Uniqueness Fundraising Banquet, to include a grand opening ribbon cutting.
It will be Tuesday, from 6-8 p.m. at Ridgeview Baptist Church, 6 N. Moore Road.
The Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce will coordinate the ribbon cutting and Journey Educational Services, Inc. is coordinating the fundraising banquet.
Journey Educational Services is a non-profit organization that serves school-aged students of all abilities, specializing in services for students with learning disabilities, autism, ADD, ADHD, and language impairments. J.E.S. provides educational support through supplemental services that will assist with obtaining a more confident, efficient, and productive way of life, in and beyond school. We provide academic and behavioral services after school, on Saturdays, and during school breaks.
Normal hours of operation are Monday and Tuesday from 3-6, Wednesday and Thursday from 1-8 and Saturday from 8-3. It is closed on Friday and Sunday.
Officials said, "The Champions of Uniqueness Fundraising Banquet will be a very inspirational evening to include dinner, musical performances, a grand opening ribbon cutting, a presentation by Luronda Jennings, executive director, student and parent testimonials, and a keynote speaker.
