Bill Hines died on Monday, November 23 at the age of 66 after a courageous battle with cancer.

He loved his family, liked to help, had a huge heart, and a smile that warmed everyone. He graduated from Kirkman High School, served in the Navy from 1969-1975. He retired from Fulmer Concrete after 30 years of service.

He was predeceased by his parents, Charlie and Betty Hines, sister and brother-in-law, Randy and Alicia Weller, brother, David, and grandparents.

He is survived by his wife, Mona, of Chattanooga, son, Brian (Laura); two grandchildren, Charlie and Clara, all of Moab, Utah; siblings, Frances O'Byrne (Oak Island, NC), Kay Tatum, Bobby (Dottie), Bud (LeeAnn), Phillip (Sylvia), Margaret (John) Hutcheson, all of Chattanooga, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Sunday, Nov. 29, from 5-8 p.m. at Holy Family Hall at OLPH Church.

Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 30, with burial to follow at National Cemetery with military honors.

In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to OLPH building fund, Hospice of Chattanooga, or American Cancer Society.
