Chauncey, Pamela Faye

Pamela Faye Chauncey, born June 4, 1955, in Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, passed away in her home on Friday, November 27, 2015. She was 60. 

Pam was preceded in death by her parents, William McKinley Chauncey and Lettie Jane (Posey) Chauncey; sister, Patricia Ann (Chauncey) Smith; and nephew William Jordan Schwenk. 

She is survived by her best friend of more than 30 years, Barbara McEliece. She is also survived her siblings, Dot Gardier, Charlie Chauncey and Sandra Berthold. 

Her nieces and nephews include, Darlene Case, Lisa Virusso, Regina Schwenk, Chuck Chauncey, Jason Chauncey and Ashley Stewart, and her god-daughter. 

Pam, or Mom, had two granddaughters, Harper Rose Stewart and Paislee Grace Stewart. 

Dogs were the core of Pam’s life and she spent many years as a member of Small Paws, fostering, loving and adopting Bichons. At the time of her death, she was mama to Posey, Harry and Muffin. 

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that you please donate to the PKD- Polycystic Kidney Disease - pkdcure.org or any charity of your choice. 

Services will be held on Monday, Nov. 30, at 4 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Grant Chauncey officiating. Burial will follow at Varner Cemetery.

Visitation is on Monday, from 2-4 p.m. at the funeral home.
