The Salvation Army will kick off the Chattanooga Salvation Army’s Christmas Campaign inside Hamilton Place Mall on Saturday at 2 p.m. on the Center Stage on the lower level.
Congressman Chuck and Brenda Fleischmann, this year’s honorary Christmas chairs, will join Angel Tree Partners, Hamilton Place Mall, News 12 Now, KZ106, WGOW AM/FM News Talk Radio, 1079 Nash Icon and J103 FM to make the first donations to the Red Kettles as they challenge the public to join them. Special musical guests will be the Salvation Army young children of the School of Music and Arts and the Jericho Brass Band.
“I am proud to live in one of the most generous communities in our great state of Tennessee,” said Congressman Chuck Fleischmann. “I know this community will continue its generosity this holiday season by volunteering to ring the Salvation Army bell or adopt a child in need from the Angel Tree. Each of us doing our small part to donate our time or resources to the needy is why we are such a great community.”
The Salvation Army of Cleveland will kick off its Christmas Campaign on Saturday at Bradley Square Mall. The kickoff program will begin at noon. Special guest Cleveland City Mayor Tom Roland will donate the first gift of the season to the Red Kettle.
