An equipment rodeo will start today (Wednesday) at 12:30 p.m. at the First Tennessee Pavilion as part of the Tennessee Chapter of the American Public Works Association's state conference held in Chattanooga this year.
Over 100 skilled heavy equipment operators from public works organizations throughout the state of Tennessee will compete in timed events using a backhoe, automated garbage truck, skid steer, telescopic excavator, wheel loader, and grapple loader.
