The 3rd annual Pickin’ on the Prairie event at Prairie Pass in Apison is open to the community with live bluegrass music featuring Slim Pickins, Rib N Loin BBQ, jump houses for kids, hot apple cider, cotton candy, kettle corn, and fun for the whole family. The event will be held Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at Prairie Pass.
At 2 p.m., a giant check will be presented to Apison Elementary for their contributions in helping to make this year's free community event a success.
Twelve new construction homes, including a furnished model, will be open for visitors to tour. Signature Brokers, LLC sponsors this annual community event.
Take I-75 to East Brainerd Road. Travel east past Ooltewah-Ringgold Road. Continue for four miles and Prairie Pass new homes community will be on the right.
