Lyle Brown
Lyle Duane Brown, 79, of Chattanooga, died on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at his home.
He was born Sept. 6, 1936, in Green Ridge, Mo., to the late Lyle Kane and Jeanitha Marguerite Brown.
He was a United States Marine veteran serving during the Korean War.
Mr. Brown was a member of Fairview Baptist Church and was retired from Shaw Industries after 12 years of service.
His step-daughter, Sonya Lynn Morgan, brother, Delbert Brown and sister, Evie Brown preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Jackie Brown; daughters, Connie (Mateo) Fuimaono of Independence, Missouri; Denise (Charlie) Chisam of Ft. Myers, Florida; Linda Brown of Belton, Texas; step-children, Michelle Caylor, Kimberly (Jerry) Ricketts, and Forrest Duane Scott all of Chattanooga; brothers, Jerry (Sharon) Brown and Thomas (Marilyn) Brown of North Kansas City, Missouri; sister, Margie Sowder of Sedalia, Missouri; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Nov. 11, from 3-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Nov. 12, at 11 a.m. in the East Brainerd Chapel with Reverend Richard Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
