U.S. Senator Lamar Alexander will host a roundtable at Chattanooga State Community College on Monday from 10-11 a.m. on the success of the Tennessee Promise program and his efforts at the federal level to make it easier for students to obtain financial aid through his bipartisan legislation, The FAST Act, and his efforts as chairman of the Senate education committee to reauthorize the Higher Education Act.
Participants in the roundtable include Chattanooga State Community College President Dr. Flora Tydings and Executive Director of tnAchieves Krissy DeAlejandro, among others.
The roundtable will be held at the Center for Business, Industry and Health Professions Building.
