Travis Ray Brown, 81, formerly of Chattanooga, died on Sunday, November 8, 2015, in Henagar, Alabama. 

Mr. Brown was born in O’Donnell, Tx., to Matthew and Nellie Brown, and raised in Benjamin, Texas. He was a member of the Church of Christ, a Free and Accepted Mason, a U.S. Army veteran and had worked as a field agent for Bill Knowles in the Hamilton County Clerk’s Office.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Edeth Brown; his parents; brother, Mauris Brown; and sister, Virginia Sue Stewart.

Surviving are his children, Travis Dwayne (Cheryl) Brown, Mark Edward Brown, Samuel Powell Brown, Christi Colleen Flinn, Matthew Cecil (Bobbie) Brown, and Jillian Faith (Chuck) Davis; 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; sister, Rebecca Word of Scottsboro, Al.; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 11, at the funeral home.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. on Nov. 11, at the funeral home with Minister Ricky Breeden officiating.

Memorial donations may be made to Rising Fawn Church of Christ (3525 Highway 11, Rising Fawn, GA 30738).

Arrangements are by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory, and Florist, 404 South Moore Road.
