The Lady Flames will be making plans for another visit to the University of North Alabama. The Lions will be hosting the first and second-round games scheduled to begin on Friday and conclude on Sunday afternoon.

Lee (11-4-4) will be pitted against the University of Tampa (10-4-5).

The winner will face host North Alabama. The NCAA schedule has Lee and Tampa meeting at 9 p.m. (est.) on Friday with the winner challenging the Lions at 4 p.m. (est.) on Sunday.

Lee, Tampa and North Alabama will be joined in the South Region of the championship by three powerhouses from Florida, Barry, Nova Southeastern and West Florida

"The girls are ecstatic," said coach Chris Hennessey after viewing the announcement show. "We are just happy we get to play and compete with the best teams in the nation."

The first-year coach added, "We know Tampa is a very good team and is well coached. We will try to gather as much information about them as possible over the next couple of days in preparation for Friday."
