The study's methodology relies on more than 300 independent, one-on-one interviews with corporate counsel to detail how more than 320 law firms perform along 17 key activities driving superior client relationships. Participants represent a broad range of industries, including banking, chemicals, consumer goods, energy, financial services, high tech, insurance, investment banking, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, professional services, retail trade, telecommunications, transportation and wholesale trade. The average revenue of the organizations with the highest legal spending this year is $18.2 billion.
