First Cumberland Presbyterian Of Chattanooga Announces New Pastor

First Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Chattanooga is celebrating the arrival this month of its new pastor, Dr. Courtney Krueger.

Dr. Krueger has come from Pendleton, South Carolina to pastor the church which is located at 1505 N. Moore Road in Chattanooga.  He is married to his college sweetheart, Lea Landers Krueger, and together they have two children, David and Sarah.  His educational experience includes a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Furman University, a Master of Divinity degree from Duke Divinity School, and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Columbia Theological Seminary.

When not passionately working for the church, he can often be found participating in an obscure activity called Ride and Tie, a sport featuring a team of two humans and one horse, with the humans alternating riding and running on foot over a 30 mile course.  In the 2015 season Dr. Krueger finished with a 6th place national rating as an individual, and finished the 2015 season ranked 1stamong two-man teams.

The First Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Chattanooga service schedule includes a Wednesday Bible study each week at 6:15, and Sunday services at 11 a.m.
