Crime Stoppers: Pedestrian Riding In Electric Wheelchair Struck And Killed On Jan. 24

Crime Stoppers and the Georgia State Patrol are seeking information on a pedestrian struck that occurred on Jan. 24.

Michael Burns, 56, was lawfully riding in an electric wheelchair along Indian Avenue in Rossville at approximately 1:30 p.m. on Jan. 24. Mr. Burns was struck by a motorist who was driving a silver Ford Taurus. The driver fled the scene after impact. The vehicle should have damage to the right front side and possibly has a Tennessee license plate.

Investigators need assistance from anyone who has information regarding this incident. 

The picture is similar to the vehicle that was used that day.
