Hamilton County Schools, Chattanooga Christian School Closed Wednesday, Some Others Delayed

Here are school and business closings and delays for Wednesday:

Hamilton County Schools will be closed after first planning a two-hour delay.  School officials said, "Due to the snow falling in areas of the County and temperatures in the 20’s, Hamilton County Schools will be closed today, Wednesday, February 18. Central Office employees will report on regular schedule. School Age Child will also be closed."

Chattanooga Christian School is also closed. 

Catoosa County Schools: Two-hour delay

Chickamauga City Schools: Two-hour delay

Christ's Legacy Academy: Closed

Telephone lines to the Cleveland Municipal Building are restored. The phones could not receive incoming call for about four hours Wednesday morning. 

Dade County Schools: Two-hour delay

Dayton City Schools: Closed 

Etowah City schools: Closed 

Fairview Christian Academy: Closed 

Fannin Co. schools: Closed 

First Christian Church has decided to cancel its planned activities and Ash Wednesday services Wednesday evening.

Georgia Northwestern Technical College's Walker County and Whitfield Murray Campuses will be closed Wednesday. Day and evening classes are canceled. All other campuses will open at 10 a.m.

Grundy Co. schools: Closed 

Marion Co. Schools: Closed 

McMinn Co. schools: Closed

Meigs Co. Schools: Closed 

Monroe Co. schools: Closed 

New Enon Missionary Baptist Church Bible study and prayer meeting is canceled Wednesday night.

Polk Co. schools: Closed 

Rhea Co. Schools: Closed 

Richard Hardy Memorial School: Closed 

Senior Lighthouse Center: Closed 

Sequatchie Co. schools: Closed 

Sweetwater City Schools: Closed 

Tennessee Wesleyan College: Opens at 10 a.m.

Walker Co. schools: delayed two hours

Walker Transit: Closed
