On February 4, Brock Insurance Agency celebrated its 52nd year in business. In 1963, founders John Brock and Marie Davis opened BIA’s doors on Howard Street in Rossville, Ga. "with two desks and a drive to be the hardest working agency in the south, which with the guidance of the late Paul Brock has propelled the agency’s growth over the years," officials said.
Today, BIA has over twenty five employees, full commercial, personal and benefits divisions and locations in Rossville and Chattanooga.
"While the fifty-two-year-old tradition of hard work and an enhanced level of local customer service remain intact, the firm has not shied away from making necessary changes as the industry evolves and their customers’ needs grow," officials said.

In the past year, BIA has brought on third generation producer John Brock, grandson of founder John Brock, enhanced their website, and embraced social media to connect with the community. Additionally, partner Trae Vaughan was named one of the nation’s top Young Gun producers by Insurance Business America magazine, Keith Davis was named director of Personal lines, Justin White became a partner of Brock & Spencer Benefits, LLC, and Katie Landers was brought on board to lead voluntary benefits. Lastly, the firm’s newest location located at One North Shore has opened doors establishing a stronger presence in downtown Chattanooga.
