Walker County Chamber of Commerce Monthly Luncheon Will Be Tuesday

Danna Bailey, vice president of Corporate Communications for EPB will be the keynote speaker at the Walker County Chamber of Commerce Membership luncheon on Tuesday, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Walker County Civic Center, 10052 N Hwy 27, Rock Spring, Ga.
 
A Chattanooga native with a background in advertising and marketing, Ms. Bailey came to EPB in 2005 to help with communications for both the electric power and fiber optics brands of the company.   Since then, she has moved to working alongside other organizations to promote the Chattanooga area's advanced smart grid and fiber optics infrastructure.
 As vice president of Corporate Communications, Ms. Bailey works closely with local entities as well as regional, national and trade media to leverage the strength of the EPB infrastructure to help facilitate community growth and prosperity.   
 
During the event Ms. Bailey will give an overview of the Chattanooga "Gig City" as they call it, including their Summer Program for Entrepreneurs from all over the world.  Ms. Bailey will also cover the EPB Fiber Optic System and fast Internet services as one of the best in the US.
 
Attendees will gain a broader understanding of diverse opportunities available in the community that EPB represents. EPB puts the infrastructure in place for the people of the community to springboard off of this foundation.
 
Door prizes for the event will be sponsored by Northwest Georgia JDA and Georgia Northwestern Technical College.  The event will include a meal catered by Darr's Chow Time. 
 
The cost to attend is $15 per member and $25 for non-members and includes the meal and program. Those wishing to attend must register online by visiting www.walkercochamber.com,  Registrations are due no later than Sunday at midnight and no walk-ins will be accepted.  Non-Chamber members are required to pay by Visa or MasterCard at the time of registration.    Attendees may begin arriving at 11:30 a.m; the program will begin promptly at 11:50 a.m.
