Leadership Chattanooga Now Accepting Nominations

Leadership Chattanooga is accepting nominations for the 2015-16 class through March 6. Submit nominations here.

Leadership Chattanooga prepares promising professionals prominent business, cultural and political roles through a 10-month comprehensive leadership training program including monthly meetings, experiential learning opportunities and community service projects. 

“As a parent with school-aged children, my favorite part of Leadership Chattanooga so far has been plugging in to the education community through an extensive session on local education and through our service projects,” said Yolonda Hayslett, accounting manager at the chamber and member of the current Leadership Chattanooga class. “This program has shown me that people can get involved in local schools more than they realize and reminded me that we all work together to shape the next generation.”

Upon receipt of nomination, nominees receive access to the Leadership Chattanooga application, due April 10. Self nominations are accepted. Participants will be selected in May.

The program kicks off with an orientation and retreat in August, with monthly sessions held the second Thursday of each month from September through May exploring aspects ofleadership anchallenges facing our community.
