Doug Hightshue
Cornerstone Community Bank of Chattanooga announced that Doug Hightshue has been promoted to Senior Vice President. Mr. Hightshue started with Cornerstone in March of 2004, and has more than 24 years of banking experience. He is a McCallie School graduate, holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of the South and has completed the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University program. He is a member of Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church and the Kiwanis Club of Chattanooga.
His favorite fundraising activity is the annual Kiwanis Duck Race. He and his wife have two daughters and a son, and reside on Signal Mountain.
Sam D. Moody has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Cornerstone Community Bank. Moody joined Cornerstone in May of 2007, and has a total of 43 years of banking experience. He attended Cleary College in Ypsilanti, Michigan with studies in Industrial Management. He also completed the Tennessee Young Bankers School at Vanderbilt University. In addition, he has completed numerous American Institute of Banking courses. Moody has extensive civic involvement and is presently a member of the Ringgold Kiwanis Club and the East Brainerd Sertoma Club. He and his wife have been members of The Crossing Church for more than 21 years, where he currently serves as a councilman and trustee. In addition, he volunteers weekly with a Prison Ministry through Correction Corporation of America.
