Reginald Ballard
Reginald Cortez Ballard, 21, died on February 19, 2015.
He was a graduate of Brainerd High School class of 2012. He was employed with Lookout Mountain Golf Club, Chattem Inc. in Lookout Valley and Hardee’s in Chattanooga. He confessed Christ at an early age and he was known as an extremely hard worker.
He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandfather, William McDonald. And paternal great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Thurman, Jr.; an infant brother, B. B. Locklin and family friend, Wendell Washington.
He is survived by his son, Tyquez W. L. Ballard; mother, Denise Ballard; father, Reginald R. Locklin; brothers, Demarcus, Elijah, Joshua Locklin and Rayshun Benford; sisters, ZaKayla, Remia, Rebbecca Locklin; grandparents, Shirley Ballard, Henry Ballard, Jr., Pastor Cynthia Roshell, Raymond Locklin, and Larry Jennings, Sr.; great-grandmother, Cloise Hendricks; special friend, Ti’iesha Marsh; very special and devoted uncle, Larry Jennings, Jr. and a host of aunts, uncles , cousins and family members.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. in the chapel on Saturday, Feb. 28. Interment will be in Highland Cemetery.
The body will lie in state after noon on Friday, Feb. 27, and the family will receive friend from 7–8 p.m. at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
