Wilbur Bray
Wilbur Bray, 64, died on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at a local hospital surrounded by family.
He was born June 30, 1950 to Hazel Bray-Baskin and the late Lee Bray, Sr., in Harris City, GA. He was a graduate of Howard High School class of 1968. He was employed with Accu-Cast, Inc.
Wilbur was preceded in death by his mother, Hazel Bray-Baskin; fathers, Lee Bray, Sr. and Leroy Baskin; grandmother, Susie Clements; brother, Eugene Bray; sister, Doris Long and nephew, DeHart “Benie Jett” Hubbard, III.
He is survived by his devoted and loving wife, Jimmette Darlene Bray; daughters, Kawanas Evans, Mesha Montgomery-Greene; sons, Terrence Holland, Jr., Demetrius Bray, all of Chattanooga; Kendall Boyd of West Virginia; sisters, Josephine Clements, Cassandra (DeHart) Hubbard, Valencia Baskin; brothers, Lee (Marietta) Bray, Jr., Robert (Winifred) Bray, Kenneth (Marshall) Bray, all of Chattanooga; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard (Loraine) Brown, Kenneth (Desiree) Brown, George Brown, David (Carolyn) Bins; Willetha Allison; mother and father-in-law, Gloria Harris and Jimmie Bins; and friends.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday, Feb. 28, at New Hope Baptist Church with Reverend Wayne Johnson officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
The body will lie in state after noon on Friday, Feb. 27, at the funeral home until 5 p.m. and the family will receive friends from 6–7 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church.
