Rodriquez D. Jones, 23, was shot early Friday morning on Glass Street.

 

Chattanooga Police responded at approximately 2:30 a.m. to 2211 Glass Street (corner of Glass Street and Dodson Avenue) for a call of a person shot and upon arrival found a single individual suffering from a single gunshot wound. The victim was found at 2208 Glass Street (J and J Lounge).

 

The preliminary investigation shows that the actual incident occurred at the corner of Glass Street and Dodson Avenue in the 2200 block (2211 Glass Street). The victim advised that he had been at the J and J Lounge earlier in the night and was shot after leaving.

 

Jones was transported to a local hospital and is in stable condition.

 

Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this crime to call 423 698-2525.

The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when available.
